This look came from the below photo of one of my most favorite flowers, the Hydrangea:
Of all the flowers, the Hydrangea has the widest array of colors – some are even green (with beautiful pink tones)! If I had a spot left in my yard, I would be growing these like crazy; they are my most favorite flower. I especially love them for dried arrangements. What caught my eye about this particular image was the gorgeous transitions between blue and purple – then there’s that burst of electric blue in the center of each flower.
And, please pardon my greasy hair today LOL I’ve been testing dry shampoos for my upcoming review and obviously the one I used today fell flat (pun intended!)

Gorgeous look! Those are my 3 favorite colors, and I just happen to have all 3, just don’t have Gesso, but I do have Vanilla, will have to try something like this. I have very hooded (getting mature) eyes, so doing a look like this, might be hard to do!
YAY!! I love when you see a look and you realize you have all the colors! LOL Right on!
Yep! Vanilla is a great substitute for Gesso!
For hooded eyes, I’d recommend taking this one high above the crease – towards the brow bone. It’s more of a dramatic look, so you could definitely get away with it. You can do it!
I love Hydrangeas – they are one of my favorite flowers. They are so hard to keep alive though…
Oh yeah? That’s a bummer!
I haven’t had any experience with them myself; didn’t know that!
These high maintenance flowers, I tell ya what
I love this look! I also think that flower is pretty! I’ve never seen a hydrangea in that shade and it makes me like them. Orchids are my favorite flowers because they’ve got a lot of variety. Now I’ll have to go look at hydrangeas, too
Haha! Yes!
I’m always amazed at the colors on Hydrangeas – there are some truly UNIQUE colors out there!
Orchids are GORGEOUS! May have to do something with them soon.
Too cool! I’ve got some flowers coming to be planted soon… I’ll hook you up with plenty of pretty petal pics! I love these. I can’t do them because I never have the colors but I admire the work nevertheless!!
Ouuu! YES! Please do, Brooke! I would love to have some of your beautiful images on the blog! You just let me know!
